SI Ethernet, Onboard Ethernet Module

The System integration-Ethernet (SI-Ethernet) onboard module supports real-time Ethernet, HTTP, SMTP, EtherNet/IP, and Modbus TCP/IP. Can be clipped into place on a suitable motor drive.

This versatile Ethernet module enables integration with a wide range of available industry standard fieldbuses or extended I/O to allow remote control and diagnostics across different industrial communication networks.

For use with a range of Control Techniques drives including:

• Unidrive M200/M201 (sizes 2 to 9)
• Unidrive M300 (sizes 2 to 9)
• Unidrive M400 (size 2 to 9)
• Unidrive M600 (size 3 to 11)
• Unidrive M700/M701/M702 (size 3 to 11)
• Commander C (size 2 and above)

This ethernet module is not compatible with Control Techniques M100, M101 or frame size 1 drives.

SI-Ethernet Module Features

• Real-time Ethernet (IEEE 1588 V2 Precision Time Protocol), Modbus TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP
• Network synchronisation of less than 1 µs jitter
• 1 ms cycle time for synchronous cyclic data
• Bandwidth protection through a network gateway
• Master/follower and peer-to-peer communications capabilities
• 100 BASE-TX RJ45 connectors with support for shielded twisted pair
• Full-duplex 100 Mbps connectivity with auto crossover correction
• Integrated switches for use of line networks (daisy chaining)
• Both ports operate in full duplex mode as a network switch
• LED status indication
• External earth connection point
