The LFP Inox is an advanced hygienic level sensor for liquids using TDR technology – a process for determining the time of flight of electromagnetic waves. The level signal is produced as a continuous value (analogue output) and a freely movable switching point (switching output) using the time difference between the emitted and reflected pulses. The built in display, G3/4 process connection, 1 metre probe length and the robust design make this level sensor ideal for a wide range of fluid level detection task across a range of industries.

Even in applications with the strictest hygiene standards, the LFP Inox can be counted on for optimal and unrestricted cleaning because it is made of FDA-compliant materials and has an EHEDG-certified design. Its modular connection system allows simple and flexible installation in any application.

Its excellent resilience to temperature and pressure allows for unrestricted use in CIP and SIP environments. The ability to communicate with the superordinate control units via IO-Link completes this outstanding profile. Time-domain reflectometry (TDR), the foundation of LFP Inox, allows the sensors to be used globally regardless of the installation environment, container size, or media being measured. The most accurate measurement results are obtained with this procedure, which also offers the highest level of reliability.

The probe is suitable for use at high process temperatures and is the space-saving solution when installation space is tight. Thanks to its quick response time, this sensor is suitable for the continuous level detection in filling machine buffer tanks in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, beverage, and milk production plants.
