This capable Fibre Optic Sensor operates quickly with a response time of 50 µs, while offering a good sensing range and operating reserve thanks to its light intensity and resolution, helping to increase process reliability.  The WLL170T is optimised for several key applications, including the detection of very small objects, coloured marks, or transparent objects.

Switching outputs include NPN, and light/dark switching. The sensor features a standard operating system that is especially suitable for basic applications but can be used when rapid response times are crucial.

Commissioning is simple using the four different teach-in inputs directly on the sensor interface or via a cable. The flexible teach-in modes allow the sensor to be customized according to the specific application. Switching threshold adjustment is made via a built-in potentiometer.
